Below is a list of do’s and don’ts regarding Recycle Fife Skip Hire:

  • Cash On Delivery*
  • Maximum 2 week hire (longer hire can be negotiated)
  • 8 Yard Skip is the maximum size available for soil and rubble
  • NO Asbestos
  • NO Paint/Oil
  • NO Fridges/Freezers
  • NO Animal Waste / Manure
  • SKIPS MUST BE LEVEL FILLED!!!

Skip Hire Tips

Don’t underestimate the size of skip you’ll need

Before hiring our skips, we recommend you work out an estimate of how much waste you need to dispose.

We offer a variety of skips, from Mini Skips to Maxi Skips, each with varying capacities. For example, a 2yd mini skip will roughly hold 20-30 bin bags of rubbish (for other sizes you can view the appropriate skip page under the Skip Hire section of this site).

If you hire a skip that is too small for your waste disposal needs, you may have to hire an additional skip when the original skip is full.

Break down large waste items to maximise skip hire efficiency

To make most use of the space of your hired skip, we advise that large waste items should be broken up into smaller pieces to provide you with better space efficiency. For instance if you have chairs, wardrobes, or other large household items needing removed, breaking these down into smaller pieces will take less room in the skip.
